Hamble Valley is set for a delicious treat as the annual Hamble Valley Festival Of Food returns to the picturesque quayside setting. On Saturday 1st September Hamble Quay will come to life with the popular Hampshire Farmers’ Market, family entertainment, and live music.

From 10am-4pm visitors will be able to meander through the market stalls filled with delights such as locally made fudge, British cheeses, local cider, pies, meat, fish, game, honey, jams and chutneys plus baked goods using Hampshire flour. The entertainment will be plentiful with Miller’s Ark Animals Mobile Farm, BellaCrafts craft stall, balloon modelling, magic, Punch and Judy, and the fabulous Vegetable Orchestra run by SoCo Music Project.

New for this year the Fizzbox Company will be there with their converted Rice horse trailer Prosecco Van, stocked with Prosecco, Cava, English Sparkling wine and Champagne so you can enjoy a sparkling treat! JJ’s Cider will also be returning with their famous range of West Country Ciders, enjoy on the day or buy it to take away.

Hamble itself, popular with yachties, visitors and locals alike, is packed with restaurants, pubs and tearooms who will be preparing fabulous meals and refreshments for visitors throughout the day.

Free parking will be available during the event. All information about what’s on during the festival can be found on the Hamble Valley Festival Of Food 2018 Facebook event. There will also be a programme distributed locally closer to the time and available on the day.
