K6 Gallery is the region’s newest and smallest art gallery. The contemporary gallery has an on-going programme of exhibitions and events throughout the year. Located in a pair of grade II listed phone boxes in the heart of Southampton, and within the city’s medieval town walls. The gallery is open year round, every day of the week, 24 hours a day and is free to enter.

April to July sees it host Roam an arts trail comprising of artworks by both local and international artists in a variety of unusual spaces starting at the phone boxes. At just over 2 miles long it makes the perfect way to fill an afternoon. From July to October the phone boxes will each host an installation by Isle of Wight based artists Joanne Hummel-Newell and Laura Hathaway. From October until the New Year the gallery will be part of the British Art Show Fringe, making up one of many events around the city to celebrate local artistic talent to coincide with arrival of the British Art Show in the city.
