Unity Brewing Co will have a pop-up bar at 2 events this May, the Rockstone Craft Beer Weekender on Saturday 6th and the House Of Gin at Winchester Guildhall on Saturday 27th.

Southampton Sailing Week will be taking place in and around the Southampton waters from the 24th-29th of May. This exciting week will demonstrate all that Southampton has to offer on the water from Yacht and Dinghy racing, rowing, paddle boarding and many more! It’s a great chance for everyone to get involved and experience sailing on the Southampton waters!

Enjoy SEE Southampton’s new walks for the 2017 season, including the Eastern Walls and Vaults on Saturdays at 1.30pm, and Wednesday evening tours of the iconic Bargate and Vaults, at 5.30pm. Adults are just £6, accompanied children free!

Mango Thai Tapas are throwing a good old knees up in the Basement on 12th May down at Ocean Village. Southampton band Catbollou will be performing in the Basement! They’re a good time Americana band playing Rockabilly • Country • Blues • Skiffle • R’n’B from the 1930’s to the 60’s… guaranteed to put a smile on your face, get your toes a tappin’ and your hands in the air! And because they know you’ll want to continue partying, DJ Blackfeather will continue the tunes until you can’t dance no more!

The Dancing Man Brewery are thrilled to announce that DJ Hammy will be hosting his new Tuesday Social on the 16th May! With a very early 6pm starting time this night gives you a chance to come out and socialise midweek and still be home at a sensible time. They serve food and fabulous beer so you can eat and drink whilst listening to some of your favourite tunes. There will request forms and pens out on the tables for you to use, so be brave and get your brains whirling and keep DJ Hammy busy.

Championing music and arts in Southampton – Southampton City Live is a one day music and cultural event to be held in the heart of Southampton. Featuring Live bands, Trade stands, Entertainment, Community features, Food and Refreshments.

Every first Saturday of the month in May, either 10.30am or 11.30am you can join one of SeaCity Museums’ tour guides in climbing Southampton’s iconic Clock Tower, find out more about its fascinating history and enjoy the fantastic views!

Time Travel! From the 27th May – 4th June become a time-traveller at Beaulieu this May with loads of themed activities! Harp back to times gone by in the historic Beaulieu Abbey and Palace House and imagine what the future of motoring will look like in the National Motor Museum. lus on 29 May you can see the brand new 999 Show which will celebrate the emergency services and be packed full of exciting things to see!

Southampton’s heritage steamship SS Shieldhall is all ready for the 2017 season, and is set to steam down Southampton Water on 27, 28, 29 May as part of Southampton Sailing Week. Check her family cruise on 28 May when six children can accompany an adult for free!

Embark on a wild journey with Marwell Zoo’s popular Explorers Trail. Collect all the stamps of your favourite animals to complete your mission! Plus, look out for Norbert the pygmy hippo calf, our playful tiger and leopard cubs, and yellow mongoose pups – all growing up fast.

Head to Fort Nelson for Blast from the Past! Friday 19 May 2017 / 6pm – 9.15pm. This ticketed event is a rare opportunity to explore Fort Nelson and experience the noise and power of the big guns after hours. Part of the national Museums at Night festival.
