On the 9th December Oxford Street held their first ‘Music On The Street’ event on their iconic Southampton street. This Christmas party not only celebrated the festive season but showed the city that Oxford Street is still one of the top places to be!

Outside of The London the stage stood proudly and from 3pm through to 8pm the stage came to life with a selection of fantastic local artists who sang, danced, and filled us with Christmas spirit!

There was a great atmosphere throughout the event, whether on the street or in the venues, which had put on their own festive treats for the evening.

Music On The StreetThe performers included:

Dan O’Farrell & The Difference Engine

Jack Dale

Katy Kelly

The King Crooner

Lucinda Lashes

Blue Ruby

Sam Solace

Oxford Street was filled with merry party goers in their Christmas attire, which was a brilliantly festive sight to see. There was plenty of fun, music and dancing on the street!

A comment on the Oxford Street Facebook page said: “Completely wonderful for the street and the city  definitely an event to repeat” – Chris.

It’s events like these that remind us of all the fantastic things Oxford Street can be for. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
