Nuffield Southampton Theatres’ (NST) sell-out Saturday Children’s Theatre starts this week with exciting and original theatre for children aged 2 and up – all for just £6!

Coming to NST Campus on 16 September is Higgledy Piggledy Pie, the new show by award-winning company Noisy Oyster, featuring popular rhymes brought to life by vegetable puppets, stunty dumpty unicycling on a tightrope and original music.

On 23 SeptemberSoap Soup Theatre presents The Pixies’ Scarf, a magical adventure story set in the world of The Wee Folk.

Hand to Mouth Theatre brings Town Mouse, Country Mouse, a tale of bravery and mousey derring-do to NST Campus on 30 September with musical chickens and a guest appearance from The Man in the Moon.

The season also includes Norwich Puppet Theatre’s playful retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s romantic tale Steadfast Tin Soldier, which uses light, projected animations and puppetry to create a theatrical experience that will engage young hearts and minds.

The season culminates with Get Lost and Found’s Mischief And Mysteries In Moominvalley on 14 October which include magical puppetry, original music in an ingenious pop-up book setting.
