On Saturday 5th May 2018, Oxford Street Southampton together with Hampshire Farmers’ Markets welcomes its first farmers’ market to the popular foodie street.

It will be the only regular Hampshire Farmers’ Market in Southampton and will take place on Oxford Street on the first Saturday of each month.

Already known as Southampton’s restaurant scene, Oxford Street Southampton is one of the city’s most historic and well-known streets. The market will take place from outside The London Hotel and will continue up the street finishing outside The White Star Tavern.

The market will boast a huge range of fresh local produce, including meat from Newhouse Venison, bread from Sourdough Bakehouse, fish from Kerri’s Catch, and alcohol from Winchester Distillery. You’ll also find plenty of vegetables, honey, fudge, and cupcakes, amongst the markets array of delights.

Expecting between 12 – 20 producers each month, the stalls packed with delicious local fare will be open from 10am – 2pm on the 5th May and each month following. Ample parking is available in the surrounding car parks including Bernard Street and College Street.

The Oxford Street Market not only promises the finest of Hampshire’s local produce but will be set in a wonderfully historic location. Whilst visiting the market you’ll also be able to enjoy the street’s impressive architecture and sample the coffee, cake, drinks and food available in Oxford Street’s cafés, bars and restaurants.
